Culiacán, Sinaloa. – With the firm goal of protecting our environment, the Tomateros de Culiacán organization calls on all citizens, businesses, educational institutions, and civil society to participate in RECICLATOM 2026, a major drive to collect recyclable waste and second-life items.

The event will take place on August 21, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in the parking lot of Tomateros Stadium (located next to Federal Junior High School No. 2).

Throughout the day, the public can drop off a wide variety of unused or recyclable items, including:

  • Electronics & Technology: Computers, laptops, printers, cell phones, landline phones, cables, computer mice, CDs, floppy disks, video game consoles, controllers, cameras, and electronic circuit boards.

  • Household & Paper: Home appliances, cardboard, discarded office files, books, plastic bottle caps, and PET containers.

  • Community Support: School supplies, clothing, footwear in good condition, and reusable toys.

To reward attendees' commitment, the event will feature special surprises for participants. The Culiacán City Council's Department of Environmental Protection will give away 60 trees to donors, ensuring that the positive environmental impact spreads directly to homes and neighborhoods across our city.

Through this initiative, the "Guinda" team reaffirms its commitment as a Socially Responsible Company, continuously supporting causes that uplift and enhance our community.
