CULIACÁN, SINALOA. – The Tomateros de Culiacán completed their ninth day of workouts at the Instituto Sinaloense del Deporte (ISDE) facilities, maintaining their momentum ahead of the 2026-2027 Liga ARCO Mexicana del Pacífico (LMP) season.

Morning activities got underway early as a group of infielders and catchers reported at first light to focus on defensive fundamentals. Shortly after, at 8:30 A.M., the remainder of the squad arrived, led by manager Lorenzo Bundy, to kick off the main team session.

For the third consecutive day, the coaching staff prioritized Live BP (live batting practice), allowing pitchers to continue building up their pitch counts while facing hitters in simulated game situations. The mound work was closely supervised by pitching coach Gabe Luckert and manager Lorenzo Bundy.

Following the bullpen sessions and individual defensive drills, the guinda offense held a solid round of group batting practice on the field.

The Tomateros de Culiacán will continue their preparation plan this Sunday at the ISDE facilities, leading up to their first preseason exhibition games, set to begin this coming September 24 in La Paz.
