CULIACÁN, SINALOA. – Manager Lorenzo Bundy kicked off the session with the customary team meeting. After receiving instructions from the skipper, the Tomateros de Culiacán launched into another day of intense workouts, successfully completing their first full week of camp.

Practice began with stretching routines before moving into individual defensive drills and team tactical work on the field.

The session also featured a continuation of Live BP (Live Batting Practice). A new group of pitchers took the mound to face club hitters in simulated game situations.

Francisco Haro, Baltazar Arredondo, Santiago Rojo, Martín Urías, and Edgar Arredondo were the hurlers who threw off the bump during the session.

Right-hander Édgar Arredondo, a native of San Pedro, Navolato, reported to camp a couple of days ago and is already working at full capacity alongside the group. "I tried to arrive as ready as possible. We know that preseason training is fundamental and requires a higher level of preparation to reach 100 percent for the season; fortunately, I’ve been feeling great," expressed the guinda pitcher.

Following the live batting practice, the day wrapped up with group batting practice, concluding the eighth day of guinda workouts.

With this session, the culichi squad closes out its first week of preparation and will maintain its pace this Saturday morning with day nine of preseason at the ISDE facilities.
