CULIACÁN, SINALOA. – The Tomateros de Culiacán training camp experienced an intense Tuesday, September 15, marked by the arrival of key figures for the 2026-2027 Liga ARCO Mexicana del Pacífico (LMP) season.

Guinda manager Lorenzo Bundy reported to lead his first workout of the current camp. Joining the skipper was pitching coach Gabriel Luckert, along with a prominent group of players headlined by team captain Ramiro Peña, outfielder Fernando Villegas, Edgar Robles, and Miguel Vázquez.

Promptly at 8:30 A.M., the culichi squad kicked off its fifth day of preparations at the ISDE facilities with a larger contingent on the field.

The session began with the customary morning team meeting led by the manager. After receiving initial instructions from the skipper and completing warm-up routines, the roster moved on to the scheduled workout plan.

Pitchers continued their bullpen sessions, now under the expert guidance and supervision of pitching coach Gabriel Luckert.

While the hurlers threw off the mound, infielders focused on individual and team defensive drills.

Skipper Lorenzo Bundy closely monitored every detail of the workout during his first day taking charge of the squad:

"The objectives never change; it will always be to win and win. We work for one of the finest organizations in Mexican baseball, and we are here to fight for the championship," Bundy stated.

Meanwhile, captain Ramiro Peña successfully completed his first workout session, officially marking his return to lead the guinda clubhouse on and off the field:

"I’m very happy to be back here in Culiacán, ready to go after the championship, and always grateful for the amazing support from all our fans," Peña said.

The Tomateros de Culiacán continue to build momentum in this preparation phase and will resume preseason workouts on Wednesday morning at the ISDE facilities.
