SANTO DOMINGO, DR (CBPC Press). – Nayarit, Mexico, will host the III Caribbean Series Kids from August 10 to 16, 2026, following the approval of the venue by the Assembly of Presidents of the Caribbean Professional Baseball Confederation (CBPC) during their meeting in Hermosillo.

The tournament, reserved for the U12 category, will be held at the Estadio Coloso del Pacífico "Don Alejo Peralta" in Tepic. The venue boasts a capacity of nearly 10,000 spectators and serves as the home stadium for the Jaguares de Nayarit in the Liga ARCO Mexicana del Pacífico.

As in the previous two editions, six teams will compete. Mexico, as the host nation, will be represented by two squads, including our very own Tomateritos de Culiacán, champions of the IV Liga ARCO Mexicana del Pacífico Youth Tournament, which concluded on June 7th in Ciudad Obregón.

Delegations from the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, and Panama are also expected to participate. Alongside Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Panama will be represented by the champion teams from their respective national youth tournaments.

Further details regarding the tournament, including the official game schedule, will be announced this Friday during a press conference held at the host venue.

The Caribbean Series Kids celebrated its inaugural edition in Panama in 2024, while the second edition took place in Caracas-La Guaira in 2025. On both occasions, the Dominican Republic delegation claimed the championship title.

With just three editions under its belt, the Caribbean Series Kids has established itself as one of the premier player development initiatives driven by the CBPC. It provides a competitive showcase for the top U12 talent while promoting the core values of baseball among new generations. The tournament has garnered growing interest from fans, media, and sports organizations alike, thanks to its high level of competition and the unmatched enthusiasm shown by the young ballplayers every single day.
