The young infielder born in San José del Cabo reaffirmed his hot streak with another outstanding week at the plate. Cano, who is currently playing Single-A ball for the Cincinnati Reds, appeared in six games this week, crossing the plate 9 times, collecting 6 hits, 1 home run, and driving in 3 runs. Ichiro is currently batting .300, backed by a .481 OBP, a .450 SLG, and a .931 OPS, proving that at just 21 years old, he has the quality to anchor himself in Minor League Baseball's farm system.
On the other hand, right-hander Francisco Haro stole the spotlight from the mound as he claimed the title with the Bucaneros de Los Cabos in the Liga Norte de México. In Game 6 of the Championship Series, Haro delivered a dominant outing, tossing 5.0 scoreless innings while striking out three batters. With this performance, the Los Mochis, Sinaloa native wrapped up the finals with a flawless 0.00 ERA, helping propel his team to the championship over the Barbanegras de Tijuana.
