Culiacán, Sinaloa. – For the second consecutive week, the young Tomateros de Culiacán prospects belonging to the Cincinnati Reds organization stole the spotlight once again, proving that their outstanding moment is no coincidence.

Highlighting as the hitter of the week once more is infielder Ichiro Cano. The "Guinda" prospect put the quality of his bat on full display after posting an incredible .545 batting average, driven by six hits, five runs scored, five RBIs, and one home run. Additionally, Cano delivered remarkable offensive figures with a .615 OBP, an .818 SLG, and a 1.433 OPS.

On his end, right-hander José Navarrete delivered another gem on the mound. In a hard-fought matchup, Navarrete tossed 5.0 scoreless innings, allowing just one hit while fanning five batters, leaving behind a miniscule 0.20 WHIP that confirms the immense reach and projection of his arm.

With these high-impact performances, both Cano and Navarrete continue to steadily climb through the Major League Baseball farm system.
